Great style.

The overall design style had to be the first thing that caught my eye. The darkened shadows and heavier outlines around certain characters really brings out the overall personality. Color usage is well done too. Nothing is too overbearing and at the same time adds a but of subtle darkness to the character designs.

If I didn't know any better, this could pass off as concept art for the twilight princess game. Integrating your style into famous character while keeping their original flavor in check is a totally different achievement. All in all, its a great achievement and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

[The Undersea]

Mesmerising

The life beneath the ocean waves has always carried a myriad of mystery as well as unforeseen beauty. This picture has done a wonderful job of capturing both of those aspects of the sea.

The detail placed in the various objects in both the background and the foreground look amazing, especially in the style they've been depicted in. I can almost imagine the whales moving slowly across the screen and gracefully disappearing into the murky water distance. The bio luminescent seaweed and the thermal cracks in the ground really add more to the personality to the overall scene.

In addition to the great design and art style, I can see an excellent use of lighting in the image. Shadows are featured well and realistically in the depicted light and the rays of sunlight from above the sea are a great addition to an overall amazing scene.

All in all this is a truly amazing piece. As a big fan of undersea life and landscape, there is no excuse for me not to give this a good review not just because of the talent of the artist, but also for the overall concept. Great job and here's to many more pieces.

[WDA - Brackenwood band]

Excellent Rendition

This is a great rendition of one of the most respected series on Newgrounds. The detail placed in each of the characters reflects the quality and detail placed in each of the flash animations that they are represented in. The fur on the Bigfoot and Bitey really look good with the glow and light effects added on to them, really giving them the image of being real fur.

The fire effects truly caught my eye since they almost stick out more than the characters. One can almost imagine the flames flickering around the smoldering skull hosts as they dance around the band.

But the main gem is the amount of personality put into this piece. Bitey, looking as wild as ever, is the lead guitarist, which is really awesome since you need to be pretty fast to shred on a guitar. Bigfoot on bass is cool since like most of the denizens of Brakenwood, base is the foundation of the group. The Elf on drums works well since he's full on energy and can use that energy to really bash those drums. Finally, the witch on lead vocals. Arguably one of the most mysterious characters in the series, her voice is just as ambiguous.

All in all, this is an excellent image with great personality as well as detail. Great work!

[Graveyard Shift]

Wow...just wow.

The detail in the image is great, especially the cracks in the monument and the gravestones. The characters make me laugh every time I lay eyes on them and the way they messed up the monument is hilarious. Good use of shading and lighting as well and you can almost picture the sun hanging lazily in the afternoon, post-apocalyptic sky. Good job.

My only complaint is that the Castle Crashers monument is fictional.

[New Beginning]

Quite a detailed piece

The colors used are bright and vibrant and really flow well with the overall design. The overall detail is simply stunning and reveals even the most minute details in both the subject and the background. Its not very often you see a pixel art piece this detailed and this is truly something beautiful to behold. Excellent work.

[The last fight - Revange]

Pretty good.

I love the dark and serious atmosphere that just seems to resonate from the image. The detail in the character is good with creases and bloodstains shown in the clothing and the blade in his hand. The destroyed landscape in the background just adds to the already foreboding atmosphere and just compliments the picture without it looking excessive. Overall, this is a great image and I hope to see more from ya.

A very interesting piece

The composition of the woman and the subject looks pretty good as well as the reflectivity of the mirrors in the image. The overall detail is excellent and the lighting and shadow effects you've used looks great. It's a well-drawn piece with a interesting concept. Good job.
